Born in 1954. Zoran Petrovski is an art-historian and curator based at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje, where from 1993 to 2000 he was taking the position of director of this institution. His more important curatorial projects include: Video-Art: Historical Survey and a symposium on the video medium (1984), Abstract Art in Macedonia: 1960-1990 (1992), Macedonian participation at the Venice Biennial (1993), 9 _: New Macedonian Art (1995), Macedonian participation at the Sao Paolo Biennial (1995), Small Talk (2001). From 1996 to 2000 he was the editor-in-chief of the Large Glass art magazine, and from 1994 to 1999 member of the Board of the Soros Center for Contemporary Arts in Skopje. His current position is a senior curator at the Photography, Film and Video Department in the Museum of Contemporay Art in Skopje.
