Né en 1970 à Dugny (France) ; vit et travaille à Berlin (Allemagne)

 

Il est souvent question chez Kader Attia de réparation, de reconstruction et de remise en état – d’un point de vue aussi bien physique que psychique, historique ou intime. Films et installations de l’artiste révèlent les fils immatériels et invisibles qui relient entre elles, du Nord au Sud, les sociétés d’aujourd’hui.
