Artist and photographer, Volodymyr Bakhtov was born on January 17, 1954.
He graduated from the Odessa Pedagogical Institute in 1975. He works in the techniques of engraving, painting, digital media, land-art. He lives and works near Nikolaev (Ukraine), in Parutino, a settlement located near the archaeological site of the ancient Greek colony of Olbia. He is a member of the Union of Artists. He is the winner of many competitions, exhibitions. He has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland and France.
