Sunday 24 July :
- Opening of the exhibition at 4pm
- Microlabel market in front of Apollonia
- Concert of the group Sousta Politiki at 7pm
In our often accelerated, saturated and ultra-connected daily lives, do we still experience life?
Do we still pay attention to the other species that inhabit and make the earth habitable as well?
How do we get out of this crisis of sensibility that philosophy teacher-researcher Baptiste Morizot talks about, this impoverishment of what we can feel, perceive, understand, and weave as relationships with respect to the living?
Through the title (Co)Habiter, the ambition of this exhibition will be to think about the different ways of co-habiting, of co-existing by reweaving our links with the living in an ecologically and socially damaged world.
VITAL: an art project with environmental objectives
(Co)Habiter is part of the European programme VITAL, which is the transformation of public space through the intervention of artists and citizens. The aim is to re-enchant the city through the use of living plants and reused materials. The exhibition (Co)Habiter marks the start of VITAL; it will be followed by a plant tagging operation in the Cité de l’Ill carried out by the inhabitants and the artists of the exhibition. Several workshops and four participative installations in public space will be developed in 2022-2023
Organised in collaboration with Apollonia as part of the festival Les Habité.e.s, this exhibition will present the combined views of 7 artists on the essential and current reflections of the exhibition.
