DIGNAT JULIETTE

Juliette Dignat was born in 1998 in Paris and lived in Bourgogne. She is certified in embroidery art and is studying in the 3rd year at the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in a NOMADE master’s degree in Mulhouse.

Through a sound and textile experience, Juliette Dignat shares her feelings et observations. She recreates the atmosphere of her hikes. The name Collecte (Collecting), refers to the practice of extracting objects and recovered sounds directly in the mountain. Due to the sound effect and the color palette of the dyes, the work reminds the visitor the forest landscapes.  This sensitive experience reinforced the interaction and the cohabitation between human and no-human. The aim is to recreate a connection with the living.
