“Dreaming from Earth to the Stars” is an evocation of the origins of creation and the essential links between primitive and contemporary art. Coming from different Australian tribes, the selected artists represent the most significant aspects of Aboriginal art.
The connexion with contemporary artists underlines their common foundations such as the sacred and the dream, but also the importance of the sign, the line, the point and the circle… It reflects the cosmogonic symbolism, which has marked our cultures through time and space, by placing mother earth and the stars at the centre.
Curated by Marc Yvonnou, Jacques Schibler and Dimitri Konstantinidis.
In partnership with the gallery Le Temps du Rêve.
Free admission, in strict compliance with health regulations.
