Garnier CLOTHILDE

Clothilde Garnier was born in Décines-Charpieu (69) in 1984. She holds a National Diploma of Art and Technique in graphic design, with a specialisation in images and narration, from the École Supérieur d’Art d’Épinal since 2014.

Clothilde Garnier exploits the material in all its possible forms with an approach similar to that of a craftsman. She questions our belonging to the Earth, what connects us to our natural environment and her own identity as a biological being. Textures and gestures play a major role in her compositions. The artist reveals the primary qualities of the material with natural colour nuances to bring together the creation of an emotional bond, nature and our existence.
