Born in 1961 in Tbilisi (Georgia). Recognized as one of th first exponent of minimal art in his native country. After graduating from the State University of Art in Tbilisi, he first worked as an actor and producer at the National Puppet Theatre in Tbilisi. Later he moved on the other forms of artistic expression: video art and photography.
