Photographer and documentary filmmaker, Evgenij Kom was born on January 1st 1946 in Austria.
From 1984 to 1988 he studied at the Moscow Institute of Culture in the Department of Photography. In 1977 he moved from Crimea to Zaporizhia where he became a member of the city’s photography club. He is a member of the National Society of Artist Photographers of Ukraine. Since 1978 he has participated in more than 200 exhibitions and photo competitions in many countries of the world. He is the winner of numerous awards in Latvia, Yugoslavia, Korea, Moldova, Ukraine, Portugal, Hungary, Spain, Denmark…
