KONDRAT ROSTYSLAV

Born on August 25, 1956 in Tysmenitsa, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine Rostyslav Kondrat is a photographer, exhibition organizer and a public figure.

In 1980 he graduated from the Institute of Forest Engineering in Lviv. From 1983 to 2009 he was the head of the Columbus Photo Club in Tysmenitsa, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1993 he joined the National Union of Photographers of Ukraine. From 1991 to 1993 he was editor of the photographic art magazine “Light and Shadow” (Lviv). From 1993 to 2009 he is executive secretary of the regional organization of Ivano-Frankivsk: the National Union of Photographic Artists of Ukraine. From 2018 he leads this organization again. In 1996 he was admitted to the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) with the title of AFIAP (FIAP Artist). Since 1996 he has represented the international photographic movement Image sans frontières (France) in Ukraine. He is the founder and curator of the biennials “Nature” and “Photo Portrait”. He participates in numerous competitions, photography fairs, group exhibitions and festivals in Ukraine and in dozens of countries around the world. His works have been awarded with numerous prizes.
