” The way Nathalie Savey transfigures the elements is only hers and translates a shuddering sensitivity to nature, a constantly renewed emotion facing the changing spectacle of the world. Her mountains are “dreamed” but they also have all the thickness of their materiality. Thereby, her photography, which combines the objective and the subjective, the inside and the outside, the visible and the invisible, the real and the imaginary, is fundamentally poetic: hence his elective affinities with Philippe Jaccottet, but also his proximity to other poets, such as Francis Ponge, who dedicated a poem “to the dreamy matter”, “providence for the spirit”, which continues to recharge in contact with the sensitive.” (Michel COLLOT)
