Photographer, proponent of the pinhole camera movement and the ancient technology of the printing process, creator of cameras of his own design, Serhii Shvedenko lives and works in Zaporijjia, Ukraine.
He is a member of the photo club Zaporozhye since 1985 and a member of the Union of Artist Photographers of Ukraine. He has participated in numerous group and personal photo exhibitions, as well as competitions in Ukraine and other countries. He has received awards, among them: Gold medals from the American Photo Association; Grand Prix Fotoforum, Slovakia; Gold medals from the Superring, Austria; Grand Prix in Luxembourg; Honorary award from Kodak, Italy; Medals from the Photographic Association of Valencia (Spain) and other awards.
