Born on November 6, 1953 in Izvestnyanka, Tomashpol district of Vinnitsa region, Oleksandr Solentsov is a photographer.
He graduated from the Khmelnitsky Institute of Consumer Services Technology. He is the co-author of 8 photo albums about the city of and the region of Khmelnitsky. He his an honorary artist of Ukraine (2009), he is an honorary member of the National Union of Artist Photographers of Ukraine. He is a Participant of numerous national and more than 50 international exhibitions. His works have been exhibited in Poland, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Romania, UK, Belgium, Austria, Pakistan, Portugal, Argentina, Hong Kong, Iran, Yugoslavia, Croatia, France, Denmark. He has organized 11 solo exhibitions. Holds the title of Artist of the International Federation of Photographic Art (AFIAR).
