The photographs of Frantisek Zvardon aim to transfigure reality and its violence into a fantastic world, blurring the line between reality and fiction. The exhibition at Apollonia venue features some one hundred photographs, the emblematic work of a whole life. Exclusively black-and-white images have been chosen to focus attention on humans and nature, the two themes that have always fascinated Frantisek Zvardon.
The purity of these photos evokes the archetypal image, the very first representation of the human figure and the original image of the landscape.
Frantisek transports us to that mystical moment of creation and invites us to contemplate his universe. Authentic and without artifice, this photographic universe allows for a direct and honest dialogue with the audience.
