Artist who don’t speak English is no Artist

Ferri has borrowed the title of the work from Mladen Stilinovic – a Croat artist from an older generation where in his work he writes the above mentioned sentence.
The artist takes this sentence as a base point for his work, and realizes it in very effective way. Ferri acts out a kind of child’s game; where kids pretend to speak English, but in fact they don’t know the English language, and they put together words that they’ve heard but that don’t make any sense. But behind this game, there lies hidden the desire of an artist in the margins of Europe to become part of a bigger artistic world. To be part of a world where the possibility for success is the same for everyone, without geographical, lingual, racial, religious, or national prejudices.
