Event
Apollonia’s garden
Shade of tall trees, opening onto the street and the neighbourhood, a friendly and soothing mix of undomesticated plants such as raspberry bushes, grassy wastelands … and well-kept vegetable gardens … Beautiful orange amarylis run along wooden benches.
From 6 pm, on the small stage on its mound of earth, a quality programming. One is surprised to appreciate in good listening conditions (that the noise of the street hardly disturbs) French songs, then a group playing an intimate jazz, musically very precise, of great quality.
Later, a complete change of music and the rhythm calls the dancers. The public is varied, many children run around in the garden; many are those who know each other, come in groups, come with their families, from the Robertsau as well as from other neighbourhoods. We are not here just to listen to music but to exchange, to dine together, to enjoy a beautiful summer evening.
Thank you to the Apollonia team for the organization of this very successful evening.
It prefigures well this living place to be built, at the beginning of the Robertsau, visible for all, of meeting and animation in an attractive and friendly green setting.

Testimony of the evening by a member of the Board of Directors of Apollonia
Thanks again to the artists for their performance!
Simon Wiedemann
This young musician from Strasbourg shares with you his repertoire of French songs, from Brassens to Mathieu Chedid. Come and (re)discover the works of our country’s greatest lyricists, in an intimate and warm atmosphere.
Paradise Trio
This small instrumental ensemble (guitar / bass / drums) offers a repertoire of background music drawn from the sources of popular tunes.
You thus find a program of choice, illustrated by great pop (Beatles, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Pharell Williams, Nile Rodgers,…), jazz (Duke Ellington, Horace Silver, Miles Davis, George Gershwin,…), world music (Joao Gilberto,…) and pop music, Bob Marley, Buena Vista Social Club, Carlos Santana,…), film music (Henry Mancini, Nino Rota, Quincy Jones, Ennio Morricone,…), French songs (Georges Brassens, Claude Nougaro, Nino Ferrer, Henri Salvador,…).
Casual Melancholia
Casual Melancholia is an independent artist: His electronic music is punctuated with acoustic instruments, and the poetic texts are inspired as much by the romantic tradition as by digital modernity. Between Paris and Strasbourg, the boy plays guitar, piano, synths, he sings, dances, turns, paints. Casual Melancholia is a deep, suave voice, electronic music, synths, house, but not that, acoustic instruments are added to make something different with eclectic musical inspirations: from Frank Ocean to Burial, or Aphex Twin through Nils Frahm.
