Lives and works in Nicosia. Papacharalambous Maria was born in 1964, Nicosia.

She studied at the School of Fine Arts in Athens and at the Faculdad de Belles Artes in Spain.
As a visual artist she realized eight solo exhibitions and participated in various group ones.
She was also selected and represented Cyprus and Greece in different European and international Salons / exhibitions, such as Biennales and Triennales, at the fields of painting, engraving, architecture, stage and costume design, installation and visual poetry.
She also realized video art, short documentary and animation films and participated in different festivals around the world.
In addition, with the artist Achilleas Kentonis, she organized various international cultural events and interventions and realized artistic publications.
She received distinctions and awards for different kind of creation.
